Blessings
So, this post is a few weeks late but I thought it was worth posting anyway. Ever since moving back to Utah in April, Curtis has been looking for a job for the next year until he goes back to school. When we first got back, UVU had just posted a position for a writing instructor for the English 1010 class. He was pretty excited about the position because he taught that class, as well as English 2010, at USU and loved it. He applied for the position and thought that he would hear back pretty quickly but alas, after a couple of months of waiting he hadn't heard anything from them. In the meantime, he applied for dozens of jobs at all sorts of places and had several interviews. None of the interviews worked out however, and he was getting a little bummed. About 3 weeks ago he got an email from UVU saying that they were holding interviews and asked if he would like to come in. He was way excited and very nervous for this interview. He of course did really well and they liked him so much that they offered him a job in the interview! We are really excited! He has been working hard, getting his class materials and schedule ready and he begins work on August 22nd! We are very grateful that we have both been blessed to find jobs doing what we love. Hooray for life working out!
